Getting paid shouldn't be complicated: Introducing GoMeddo Payments
Managing bookings is one thing, getting paid for them shouldn’t add complexity. In this blog, we explore how GoMeddo Payments brings the entire payment lifecycle into Salesforce, giving your team real-time visibility, reducing manual work, and creating a seamless experience from booking to payment.

If you've been using GoMeddo to manage reservations, you already know how smoothly the booking side of things can run. But what about actually collecting payment for those bookings? Until recently, that often meant juggling a separate system, manually reconciling records, or waiting for your finance team to tell you whether a transaction went through. GoMeddo Payments changes that entirely.
With GoMeddo Payments, the full payment lifecycle sits right inside Salesforce, directly connected to your reservations. From generating a payment link to tracking whether a customer has actually paid, everything is visible to your team in real time, without switching tools or checking external dashboards.
How GoMeddo Payments works
GoMeddo payments works in a simple 4 step process that immediately begins when a reservation is created in GoMeddo and a payment record is linked to it automatically.
From a Salesforce Flow, your team generates a secure payment link and sends it to the customer by email or SMS.
The customer clicks the link, completes their payment on a hosted checkout page powered by Stripe or Adyen, and GoMeddo Payments immediately receives a webhook from the payment provider.
That webhook updates the transaction status in Salesforce in real time, with no manual steps required on either side.
A real-world scenario
Imagine running a training facility that hosts corporate workshops. A customer books a full-day 20 people session for their organization. The event coordinator creates the reservation in GoMeddo, and with a single step in a Salesforce Flow, a payment link is generated and sent to the client's finance contact.
The finance contact receives the link, pays the invoice amount through a clean, branded checkout page, and within seconds the reservation record in GoMeddo reflects a confirmed payment.
The event coordinator won't need to chase anyone, log into a payment portal, or manually update a field. The status is just there, accurate and up to date.
This flow works equally well for individual bookings, event registrations, or any scenario where you need to collect payment before or after a reservation is confirmed. Additionally, if you are using the GoMeddo Frontend Builder to offer bookings directly on your website, GoMeddo Payments integrates directly. A customer can complete a booking journey through your public-facing booking page and pay in the same flow, with the transaction status landing in Salesforce just the same way.
The result? Your customer booked and paid for the desired event package with minimal effort whilst your team managed the request in a streamlined and effortless manner.
Why this matters for your operations team
The big shift here is about visibility. When payment data lives in a separate system, your team is always working with incomplete information. They can’t immediately tell which bookings are paid, which are pending, and which need a follow-up.
With GoMeddo Payments, that picture is always up to date inside Salesforce, alongside the reservation details your team already works with.
GoMeddo Payments supports both Stripe and Adyen as payment providers. Configuration happens through Salesforce, and webhooks handle the real-time status sync automatically. Once set up, maintenance is minimal, simply keep the GoMeddo app updated to the latest version and you’re set to go.
For teams already using Salesforce Flows for reservation automation, adding a payment step is straightforward. You can generate the payment link at exactly the right moment according to your process, independently if it’s immediately after booking, after a confirmation step, or on a schedule you define.
